hello!

If you are visiting this page, hopefully it is because you are considering entering into the therapy process. Therapy can benefit anyone - whether you are in deep distress or you want to grow in insight. I commend you for being brave and caring for yourself by considering treatment. It would be an honor to be invited into your life and witness your healing and growth.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (she/her), and my goal is to care for you as you learn about yourself and make positive changes. Many of my clients begin therapy because they find themselves stuck in patterns and behaviors that are not satisfying to them. When you're stuck, it's easy to feel depressed, anxious, and alone. It would be my privilege to come alongside you in that difficult place. As we work together, you will be empowered to express yourself more freely, create more meaningful and fulfilling relationships, and discover how to get out of unhelpful patterns.

I practice using a psychodynamic therapy style. This means that I will create an open and safe space for us to explore how your past experiences impact the way you think, feel, and behave. I’ll help you see patterns and make connections between your past and present, so that you will be better informed to make wise decisions about your future.

Experience

I completed my postdoctoral training at a non-profit group private practice where I worked with adolescents, adults and couples in the community. My other clinical experience includes working at multiple university counseling centers, a government-funded community mental health center, and an intensive outpatient hospital program. I also work as an adjunct psychology professor teaching online undergraduate students.
